vista perpetual install

i installed Vista, all went according to plan. once loged in shortly after the windows installer started automaticaly. it keeps trying to install office 2003. i played along but with no avail. it just keeps running and keeps looking valid directory. the error says invalid or missing cabinet. this is causing Vista to get stuck in black screen during start up, but wheni do get it to start the installer contiues to ask for office 03 install.
